More People Need to Jump Overboard!

I serve a church where people are jumping overboard. The more I look around the less people I see in the boat – and I am PSYCHED!

I have the joy of watching more and more people get out of the boat and start walking on the water. Our Leadership Council has a number of new people serving in ways they never thought they might. They don’t always know exactly how to do what needs to be done, but then I think of Peter walking on the water and neither did he! The amazing part is that they are willing to jump overboard, trust God, and give it a shot.

I imagine we’ll have times where we collectively or individually look at the turmoil and craziness of what we’re facing and we’ll get scared. We’ll have times when we feel like we’re sinking and things are going horrible wrong. The good news is, just like with Peter, Jesus is there to reach out his hand and walk us back.

People are jumping overboard and finding an amazing adventure in following Jesus in ways they never imagined.

Are you in or are you out?

Holy high-five to you,
Mike
